Clarinda A's will host the National Baseball Central USA Regional Tournament Sunday, July 24 - Thursday, July 28 at Clarinda Municipal Stadium-Eberly Field. The winner of this tournament will advance to the NBC World Series which starts July 30 in Wichita, KS. The Central Regional winner will play Monday, August 1 the representative of the Colorado Collegiate League at a time yet to be determined.

Playing for the right to play in the World Series are the A's, Omaha Diamond Spirit, Chillicothe Mudcats, Omaha Strike Zone and Topeka Golden Giants which should make for a very competitive tournament.

St. Joseph Mustangs and either Nevada Griffons have automatic bids to the tournament by winning the North and South divisions of the MINK League. The playoff for the League championship series of the best two out of three games will be held July 22-24 at Nevada.

A's fans are encouraged to come out and support their team this coming week.
