Hello and welcome to the 2008 Clarinda A's season. In order to familiarize our new visitors to our website operations, here are some frequently asked questions and answers.

Q - Why aren't game statistics and box scores posted as soon as the games are completed?

A - The Clarinda A's do not currently own game statistics software capable of sending results directly to a web site. The process is manual: a team representative in Clarinda records the games on a laptop, then emails the files to the webmaster in Minnesota, the stats are massaged and then posted to the website.

Q - How can I buy team paraphenalia and why isn't it available on the website for purchase?

A - Please use the 'contact us' form on our site to request the purchase of team paraphenalia (a team representative will reply to your post and send directions on how and where to send your payment - do NOT submit any credit card data through this form). We will soon be creating an online store portion of our site, but we are still about 30 days away from its launch.

Q - Are the A's games available on the radio or via webcast?

A - No, the team currently does not have the means in which to do this?

Q - Why doesn't the team invest in new web capabilities to keep up with modern technologies and trends?

A - The A's website and most of its operations are managed by volunteers and done with very limited budgets.

Q - How do I make a donation to the team?

A - Please use the 'contact us' form to get in touch with a team representative who will provide the exact details of making a charitable donation.
