A's BOARD FACING MAJOR CHALLENGES
While the team continues to represent the community well, as they did this past season, off the field the board faces some costly challenges.
Our facilities are beginning to show the wear and tear of time and while we have been able to put a band-aide on some problem spots, there is going to have to be some major work done (from the lighting on down) in the next year if we are going to be able to get the field, etc. back to what it was ten years ago.
The board, with cooperation of the city and business community, is doing the best it can with fewer businesses to draw on but are going to need the help of former players as well as those of you who have enjoyed the team through the years.
We do need your help, so are asking you to step up to the plate, take the mound, support the program one more time - any amount will be appreciated - large or small - and every dollar will be used wisely.
