(Chillicothe) -- An eight-run seventh inning pushed the Clarinda A's (4-1, 3-0) to a 12-5 win over Chillicothe on Tuesday night.
Leading 4-2, the A's broke things open with the eight run frame, bringing 13 batters to the plate. Wyatt Ball and Danny Mitchell each delivered two-RBI singles in the inning.
Mitchell led an 11-hit attack with four hits and three RBI, while Victor Perez had two hits and scored two runs and Jackson Crochet, Ball and Kevin Arias-Liriano finished with two RBI each.
Cole Gray threw the final two innings of the game to pick up the win. He allowed no hits while striking out four and walking two.
