Clarinda A's drop both ends of doubleheader against Ozark

(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's dropped a pair of two-run decisions to Ozark on Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Hunter's two-run home run supplied all of the Clarinda offense in the first game, a 4-2 loss.

Ozark's first six in the batting order all had one hit in the win, and they led 4-0 when Martin went deep in the fourth inning of the seven inning game.

Parker Dent gave up the four runs over three innings, taking the loss. Garrett Kraemer gave up just one hit in the last four innings to keep the A's close.

Clarinda jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning of the second game, but fell 5-3 with Ozark scoring twice in the seventh and final inning.

Ryan Curtis doubled in two runs against A's pitcher Samuel Reed.

Danny Mitchell opened the inning with a home run for the A's. Victor Perez singled in a couple runs to make it 3-0.

The A's outhit the Generals 11-7 with Mitchell, Perez, Drew Holtgrieve and Jordan Abushalahla all with two hits.
