As the A’s head into their 56^th season they have played 2035 games with a record of 2007 – 928. Under various managers from the first season through 1960 (they were the Merchants till 1959) they compiled an 83 – 44 record.  Merl Eberly took the reins in 1961 and when he stepped off the field the team had won 1501 games and lost 598 under his guidance. Noel Bogdanski took over from 1998 through 2002, leaving with a 167 – 137 total. Heading into his eighth season at the helm, Ryan Eberly comes in at 255 – 149.
