With the 55th season on the horizon the A's auxiliary and home moms want to put together an A's cookbook that will be available before the new season begins.

We invite all you house parents, player parents and former players wives to submit some of you favorite recipes for this project. Would like for the player's parents and wives to please include the year your son/husband played with the A's and any special memory you or they had of their time in Clarinda. Know there are many former house parents who have moved and we would like to include your recipes and memories also.

You can send your recipes to the website or mail to Clarinda A's, 225 E. Lincoln, Clarinda, IA 51632. Start sending anytime, the deadline will be February 1, 2009.

We are sure that the finished product will be full of really good dishes and stories as we have some fine cooks who have shared their homes with the "boys of summer" and some of you parents have also contributed through the years your sons were here.
