The A’s opened the week by hosting a three game series against the Southern Division leading Nevada Griffons. Although the Griffons won the first game of the series, the A’s bounced back to take the final two games.
Clarinda then departed for a four day road trip against the Ozark Generals and Joplin Outlaws. The A’s won one of the three games they played against both Ozark and Joplin. The A’s defeated the Generals 7-0 June 21 and topped the Outlaws 8-2 June 22.
As a result, the A’s finished the week with an overall record of 13-7 and stood at 10-7 in the MINK League.
