Clarinda A's Baseball

(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's took the weekend series from the Ozark Generals with a doubleheader split on Sunday.

The Generals put a thumping on Clarinda in the opener, 11-1, before the A's responded with a 6-3 win in the nightcap. That was the second win of the three-game series for the A's after being Ozark, 7-2, on Saturday.

The A's will have a busy final week of the season, starting with a home game against the St. Joe Mustangs on Monday evening. They will travel to Chillicothe to meet the Mudcats on Tuesday before returning home on Wednesday to meet the Omaha Diamond Spirit. The A's will go to St. Joe on Thursday, Omaha on Saturday and then back home for the season finale against the Sedalia Bombers on Sunday.
