(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's scored two in the eighth to take down the Sedalia Bombers, 5-3, on Thursday evening.
D'Marco Poindexter, Justin Smith, Zack Belanger, Patrick Avila and Spencer Maxey all drove in a run apiece for the A's.
Jacob Howel pitched seven shutout innings, striking out six and walking four.
The A's have won five of their last six. Clarinda will host the Omaha Diamond Spirit on Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
