Clarinda A's Baseball

(Clarinda) -- A seven-run fifth inning proved to be all the scoring on Thursday night at Clarinda Municipal Stadium, as the A's beat the Joplin Outlaws, 7-0.

The A's recorded just five hits but took advantage of five Outlaw errors to strike for seven unearned runs. 

Patrick Avila drove in two on one hit while Gavin Golsan had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Zack Belanger, Justin Smith and Danny Matienzo also delivered safeties ont he evening.

Jacob Howell pitched seven scoreless innings, scattering six hits, striking out five and walking just two.
