Clarinda A's Baseball

(Clarinda) -- A six-run first inning sunk the Clarinda A's for the night in an 8-3 loss to the Chillicothe Mudcats on Monday.

The Mudcats would add two more in the second and cruise to the victory.

The A's managed just six hits on the night, led by Dakota Woods, who had a hit, a walk and scored twice. He's now hitting .417 for the summer.

Colin Butkiewicz also had a solid game, going 1-for-1 with an RBI and two walks.

The A's next play at home against the St. Joseph Mustangs on Wednesday night at 7:00.
