(Nevada) -- The Clarinda A's picked up a 3-0 shutout win over the Nevada Griffons on Saturday.

Alex Ernestine threw the first six innings, scattering four hits and three walks while depending on a strong error-less defense.

Dylan Agra followed with two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one. Then, Justin Hoyt followed with a perfect ninth inning to earn the save.

The Clarinda offense scored one in the fourth and two in the seventh and all run-producing hits came from the bottom part of their order.

Six-hitter TJ Luckett had a run scored, two walks and drove in a run, eight-hitter Steve Pico Jr. had a run-scoring hit and Ben Duerr drove in a run despite going 0-for-4.

It's the second straight win for the A's, who took down the Carroll Merchants (3-2) on Friday. They return to action on Monday at Sedalia.
