(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's won their third straight game on Sunday, knocking off the Kansas City Monarchs by a 10-6 final.
The A's struck early with a four-run first inning before adding one in the second. The Monarchs answered with six in the fourth to take the lead, but Clarinda came right back with two in the fifth. They would add a run in the sixth and two in the eighth.
Chase Hamilton led the A's at the plate with three hits in four at bats. He drove in three, walked once and scored once. Steve Pico Jr. had two hits of his own and scored a run.
Garrett Kraemer threw three innings in relief to get the win, allowing one run on three hits. Samuel Reed pitched the last three innings and didn't allow a hit while striking out four.
