(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's got a sterling four-person pitching performance and took a 4-2 win over Chillicothe on Wednesday night.
Alex Ernestine tossed six shutout innings, allowing just five hits while striking out five Mudcat batters. Adam Poldberg, Bryce Shea and Shane Lantigua followed with three combined innings where they allowed zero earned runs.
Offensively, Clayton Daniel, Zack Belanger and Steve Pico Jr. drove in runs, while Chase Hamilton, Mondesi Gutierrez, AJ Acton and Ben Duerr also hit safely.
The A's (10-7) are back on the road Thursday night when they travel to Nevada to meet the Griffons.
