Bombers jump all over A's in rout

(Clarinda) -- The Clarinda A's dropped a home contest in a rout to the Sedalia Bombers on Wednesday night, falling 10-1.

The Bombers had 11 hits and scored all 10 of their runs in the first four innings, while Clarinda had just six hits on offense and committed two errors on defense.

 

Eric Wagaman and Mondesi Gutierrez had two singles apiece for the A's, while Alex Henwood drove in Clarinda's lone run of the night.

Colt Blackford took the loss, working the first two innings and giving up three runs on three hits and four walks.

The A's (21-20) go to Joplin tomorrow for a road date with the Outlaws.
