At the annual Hall of Fame banquet held earlier this year, former A’s player Ozzie Smith presented a bronze bust of the late Merl Eberly to his family, the A’s and the community. It has been on display in the window of the Chamber of Commerce till a permanent place could be found at the ballpark.
